The Hencil Dohne Merino Stud Production Sale was held on the farm Grootvlei on 21 January on behalf of Cecil and Henk van der Merwe.

The highest price of the day was paid for a ram, which was sold to James and Ryan Snelling of the Waqu Dohne Merino Group in Cathcart for R32 000. Rams achieved an average price of R11 147,06.

In-lamb ewes carrying singletons achieved an average price of R2 165,54, while in-lamb ewes carrying twins were sold for an average price of R2 303,56.

The sale was held by Vleissentraal, with André van Zyl as the auctioneer
