Kroonstad – The Sale of the Greys Brahman sale was held on 3 May at Kalkfontein. Burnie and Dennis Staal of Kroonstad sold the most expensive bull to OBK Basiami of Gaborone, Botswana for R200 000. The bulls sold for an average of R96 333. Burnie and Dennis Staal sold the most expensive heifer to Johan Schoeman of Kroonstad for R61 000.
Heifers sold at an average of R26 257. Dennis and Burnie Staal sold the most expensive cow and calf to Reinier Hamilton of Potchefstroom for R48 000. Cows and calves sold for an average of R29 077. The most expensive cow sold for R42 000 to Reinier Hamilton of Potchefstroom. Cows sold for an average price of R25 333. The sale was hosted by Simon Hughes Marketing.
