Highest (ram): R26 000

Caledon – The Caledon Ram Auction was held on 13 June with a total turnover of R625 250. The top priced Dohne Merino ram from Hammansdal Boerdery sold for R26 000 to Lemoenskop Plase Trust. The top priced SA Mutton Merino ram from Tussenbeide (Pty) Ltd, sold for R20 000 to Lelievlei Chickens CC. The highest priced Dormer ram from Johannes du Toit sold for R10 000 to Gielie Viljoen. The auction was hosted by BKB Western Cape with auctioneer Apie Maritz.
