1. Novacat S12 mower combination
It was almost impossible to miss the massive Pottinger Novacat S12 mower combination on the Valtrac stand. Claimed to be the world’s largest tractor- mounted combination mower, the S12 has a full working width of 11,2m. Despite this, it requires only 120kW for a work rate of up to 12ha/h due to a weight-to-width ratio of only 175kg/m. A pressure gauge is fitted to the mower frame and the ground pressure can be adjusted from the driver’s seat for optimum forage quality and ground protection.

The cutter bar has a quick-change knife system, slanted cone surfaces and optimised counter-chop zone, while the knife paths overlap for a better cut and smooth crop flow.

2. YTO TC 4015
This four-wheel-drive rough terrain forklift from VB Agri is based on a YTO tractor and can lift 1 500kg to a height of 3,3m.  The engine is rated at 29,4kW, powering an 8/8 forward and reverse transmission.  The minimum turning radius of the TC 4015 is 4 050mm.

3. Erdvark HTT1800-3500
This high-tip trailer is designed primarily for grape harvesting. Loading height is only 1m, but the trailer tips at a height of 2,9m. Stability is maintained by retractable hydraulic legs. Capacity is 4,5m³ and the payload is 3 000kg. The trailer can also handle tomatoes and other fruit harvested for juicing.

4. YTO CPCD fork-lift with cab
The YTO CPCD25 by VB Agri has a fully air-conditioned cab to protect operators working in hazardous or excessively hot and dusty conditions. The fork-lift can lift 2 500kg to a height of 3,3m and has a minimum turning radius of 3 050mm. It’s powered by a 45kW Xinchang engine and has hydraulic transmission. Maximum travel speed without a load is 25km/h and maximum loaded gradeability is 20%.

5. Terradonis JP-1 small grain seeder
Created for market gardeners, this single-row manual seeder is easy to use and set up, and is very precise. It features a simplified hopper removal mechanism to facilitate changing rollers and cleaning.

6. Bassi hand drill
Staalmeester’s Bassi hand drill is equipped with a seed distributor consisting of a disc prepared to a client’s specifications. It is designed for sowing all types of vegetable, grain and medicinal herbs. The seed distributor is driven by the rear wheel, which powers a pinion, crown wheel and chain transmission. The implement is equipped with a chain tensioner, which allows the operator to change the crown wheel and thus the spacing on the row without having to make adjustments to the seed distributor.

7. Enorossi 12-wheel Bat Rake
The Bat Rake has a working width of up to 7,4m. The unique lifting system partially raises the rake at the headland without having to bring it to the full transport position. It can be changed from a V rake configuration to single side raking.

8. new range from tirth agro technology
Based in Gujarat State in western India, Tirth Agro Technology manufactures the Shaktiman range. Products on show at Nampo included rotary tillers, roto seed drills, hay rakes, fertiliser spreaders, rotary slashers, power harrows and a single-row silage harvester.

9. Joskin slurry implements

  • TANKER (FRONT): The 12 000l tank of the Joskin Modulo 12000 MEB slurry tanker seen here on the Dicla stand has a self-supporting structure welded to the cradle. The tanker can be fitted with different pump types. There is a choice of cross spring or hydro-pneumatic suspension systems.
  • MUCK SPREADER (REAR): The Siroko range of single-axle muck spreaders with lowered narrow bodies and vertical beaters is available in capacities from 6,5m3 to 14,2m3. Seen here is the 12m3 5013 12V.

The Siroko range is intended for farmers and contractors with tractors up to 100kW. The structure of the body improves stability on sloping ground and the large-diameter wheels reduce compaction. The metalwork is galvanised from the drawbar to the beater frame to reduce corrosion.

10. Unia DF 1.8 D round baler
The DF 1.8 D makes 1,2m x 1,2m bales. It has 17 profiled rollers and a pick-up width of 2,1m. The 14-knife cutting device can be engaged hydraulically and the cut length is 85mm. The knives are individually protected and the pick-up floor can be dropped to clear blockages. Bales can be tied with twine or net, and masses range from 300kg to 700kg depending on the material being baled. The claimed output is 40 bales/h or more, depending on the windrow and the operator.
