Harvesting results will lend direction to agricultural machinery sales

South Africa’s agricultural machinery marketers remain cautiously optimistic that currently buoyant sales will continue throughout the rest of 2012.

However, they are waiting to see how the results of the current harvesting of 2011/12 summer grain crops will impact national agricultural machinery sales in latter 2012. The SA Agricultural Machinery Association said that crop prices are currently being bolstered by low national and international grain stocks.
