In a statement rural and land reform minister Gugile Nkwinti, said the Exceptions Policy Framework will give South Africans an opportunity to claim land that was lost due to dispossession before 1913.
Speaking at a forum hosted in Johannesburg on Friday, 20 November, Nkwinti said the Exceptions Policy Framework will soon be submitted to cabinet for approval.
The framework forms part of the new approach for land reform set out in the 2011 Green Paper on Land Reform.
