‘Shipboard livestock exports aim to advance new farmers’

According to Agri Eastern Cape, although the contribution by emerging farmers to two recent export shipments of live sheep from South Africa to the Middle East was relatively small, in future, the inclusion of emerging farmers in this initiative should be seen as a huge boost for greater inclusivity by them into the formal red meat value chain.
