The Kubota M7 range of tractors is powered by a Kubota four-cylinder engine producing 97kW in the M7-131, 112kW in the M7-151 and 127kW in the top-of-the-range M7-171.

Buyers can choose between a 24-speed semi powershift and a constantly variable transmission.

Weighing 6,5t, this is a heavy tractor, but Kubota insists that the weight is evenly distributed between the axles and will greatly improve traction in field operations.

Other features include front linkage with PTO and the option of a purpose-built front-end loader. Rear tyre size can go up to 650/65 R38, which should also ensure excellent traction.

Ease of operation

As tractor and equipment technology becomes more sophisticated, operating these units could become more challenging.

Aware of this, Kubota has taken great care to ensure that the display of information for both the tractor and implements is easily accessible. Thanks to a unique touch-screen, the operator can control multiple functions, such as implement operation and hydraulic flow, at the same time.

A new ergonomic multi-function hand controller enables control of speed, forward and reverse direction, and operation of the three-point hitch and headland management system.
