The Bionic Grip is an open-ended version of the patented Bionic Wrench. It is a multi-purpose hand tool that combines the best features of a pair of pliers and an adjustable wrench. Like the Bionic Wrench, the tool distributes force around a work surface and automatically grips a variety of sizes of nuts and bolts. It works similarly to a flare nut wrench, and is particularly effective if the flats are damaged.

Its four serrated jaw surfaces – a new interlock mechanism that stays locked while under torque load – also makes it ideal for use on household plumbing fittings, gas or air lines. The Bionic Grip is available in three sizes, allowing it to turn nuts and bolts with head sizes from 7mm to 30mm. The options are the Bionic Grip 6’’ Open 7mm to 14mm, the Bionic Grip 8’’ Open 13mm to 20mm, and the Bionic Grip 10’’ Open 21mm to 30mm. These cost R278, R299 and R430 respectively, and are stocked at selected outlets countrywide.
