Caledon – The 20th annual Caledon Promotional Sale was held on 10 June. Twelve Dormer rams, 32 SA Mutton Merino rams and 20 Dohne Merino rams were on offer. Johannes du Toit of Remkuil Boerdery sold the highest-priced Dormer ram to Paul Neethling of Serjeantsrivier Boerdery for R10 000.
Johan Wiehahn of Tussenbeide sold the highest-priced SA Mutton Merino ram to Leeurivier Trading for R11 000. Pieter Swart of Swartrivier Landgoed sold the highest-priced Dohne Merino ram to Pieter Beukes for R16 000. The sale was conducted by BKB Western Cape, with Appie Maritz as the auctioneer.
