Online liquidation auction – 398ha poultry & grazing farm with movables

Van’s Auctioneers will be hosting an online auction on 23 and 24 April 2025 of a poultry and grazing farm, as well as related movables, situated over three farm portions of about 398ha in extent.

The farm comprises Portions 1, 2 & 3 of Farm Klein Vlakte 144, and are located along the N10, just outside Paterson, about 77km from Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.

The farm is well located, with easy access to major routes. There is sound poultry farming infrastructure of about 6ha, ready for production, and natural grazing of about 392ha.

The improvements currently include eight fully equipped Skov ventilated houses. Each poultry house has a carrying capacity of 32 000. However, the potential is for much more as there is EIA approval for a total of 24 houses to be built.

There is also a large office block and production building, a large wash bay area, workshop, reservoir, pump houses and more.

Also available for auction are two custom pullet trailers equipped with ventilated fans and generators. Each takes 44 trolleys per load, with each load taking about 9 000 birds.

Also available are a forklift, other trailers, chicken cages, office and household furniture, appliances, tools, related equipment and much more.
