Bloemfontein – Richter Simbras held its 9th production sale on 16 July. The highest-priced bull (JHR 10 88) was sold to HL Muller of Lindley for R70 000. The average price for bulls was R38 022. The highest-priced cow with calf (JHR 03 226B and
JHR 13 795C) was sold to Schalk Burger of Harrismith for R41 000, and the average price for cows with calves was R21 687.  The highest-priced in-calf heifer (JHR 11 291) was sold to Phariri Trading 35 of Upington for R27 500. The sale was conducted by CMW Auctioneers, with Ian Grobbelaar as the auctioneer.
