Stella – Kobus Poggenpoel’s Bristow Bonsmara Molopo Stud Sale was held on 27 May at the Stella auction pens. The highest-priced bull (BBM 11 023) was sold for R400 000 to Colin Saunders of Saunders Bonsmaras (Rust de Winter), Danie Olivier of Hotvoor Bonsmaras (Vryheid) and Danie Opperman of Steilrand Bonsmaras (Vryheid). The sale was conducted by Noordkaap Livestock Co-op Vryburg and Optima Auctioneers, with Johan van der Nest as the auctioneer.
