Farmers in central provinces awarded

Cobus van Coller from Viljoenskroon was honoured as the central branch of Agricultural Writers’ SA’s 2014 Free State Farmer of the Year at the organisation’s award ceremony in Bloemfontein Friday night.

Hennie and Bertie Coetzee from Prieska are the organization’s Northern Cape Farmer of the Year. The new Farmer of the Year is Keith Middleton from Jacobsdal.

SA Stud Book’s Charl Hunlun is the Free State’s Agricultural Scientist of the Year and Dirk Gunter from OVK was the Northern Cape Agricultural Scientist of the Year.
