The award is made in conjunction with the International Federation of Agriculture Journalists and she will be invited to attend the federation’s congress in Sweden later this year. Van Rooyen was awarded the Agricultural Writers SA journalist of the year award last year. Farmer’s Weekly would like to congratulate her on this achievement.
