The event will see more than 100 international and local environmental specialists and scientists present their most recent research findings on climate change and air pollution.

Setting the tone for the event are two key-note presentations. One is the ‘Climate and Air Pollution Impacts on Africa’ by Dr Bob Scholes, an ecologist with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). The other is ‘Short-Lived Climate Pollutants: The Scientific and Policy Issues’ by Dr Martin Williams, chairperson of the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution.
