Plans to make insurance accessible to small holder farmers

Speaking at the Agricultural Business Chamber’s (Agbiz) development finance workshop, finance minister Pravin Gordhan, said that insurance against disease and adverse weather is critical to a farmer’s sustainability, but sadly only big farmers can afford it.
