Bredasdorp – The Staatmaker Merino production auction was held on 16 July. A total of 37 Merino rams were on offer, with the most expensive being sold for R15 000 to Danie Rossouw of Restoration Farming CC, Windmeul, by Dirk Uys of Bredasdorp. The rams achieved an average price of R6 771. The auction was hosted by BKB Western Cape, with Appie Maritz as the auctioneer.
