Third joint SA Mutton Merino Production Sale

Hoopstad – The third joint SA Mutton Merino Production Sale of breeders Jan Haasbroek, E Helm and D du Bruin was held on 12 June. Haasbroek sold the two highest-priced rams, JJH 11 135 and JJH 12 250, to JJ Roos of Hoopstad and GG Treurnich Boerdery of Migdol, respectively, for R10 000 each. The average price for rams was R5 866, while stud ewes averaged R2 275. The sale was conducted by CMW, with Allan Sinclair as the auctioneer.
