Trichardt – The total dispersal sale of Scoltzer Boerdery was held on 8 May. A Holstein cow (Appoint 08 028) was sold for R36 000 to Econocom of Henley-on-Klip. The average price for 201 cows in various stages of production was R12 834, the average price for 38 pregnant heifers was R9 479, and for 27 open heifers and calves, the average price was R3 365. This auction was hosted by Eco Auctioneers, Bloemfontein with Gert Coetsee as the auctioneer.
