Harrismith – The third Eeram SA Mutton Merino Sale was held on 10 August at the Eeram Farmers’ Association Complex.
Van Aardt Greyling of Ricksuhill, Lady Grey, sold the highest-priced ram (4210 VAG) to Koos de Wet of Graaff-Reinet and Pieter Badenhorst of Colesberg for R24 000. The average price for the 36 rams was R7 688.
This sale was conducted by BKB Louwid Frankfort, with Jan Mostert as the auctioneer.
