Klerksdorp – The Meatmaster Breeders’ Sale was held on 13 July. The offer consisted of 351 ewes and 10 rams.
The highest-priced ram was sold to Fanie van Vuuren of Rustenburg for R40 000, and the average price was R11 450. The highest-priced ewe was sold for R4 000, and the average was R2 884.
The sale was conducted by SHM Auctioneers, with Theuns Visser as the auctioneer.
