Boshof – The MC Stud and Adelson Boran Sale was held on 12 June at Wolwedrift. MC van Straten of Boshof sold the highest-priced bull (MC 11 142) for R48 000 to Willem Janson of Witrivier. Lizette Basson of Petrusville sold the highest-priced
cow (EG 09 028) for R40 000 to Francois Smit of Derby. MC van Straten sold the highest-priced cow and calf (MC 11 089) for R40 000 to Francois Smit.
He also sold the highest-priced heifer (MC 11 198) for R30 000 to Frans Minnaar of Bothaville. The sale was conducted by SHM Auctioneers, with Johan van der Nest as the auctioneer.
