Warden – The Meaker Brafords held their first production sale on 19 June on the farm Draaihoek. The most expensive bull was sold for R38 000 to FR Grobbelaar of Bethal. Twenty bulls were sold at an average price of R25 900. The most expensive group of pregnant heifers was sold for an average of R9 500 each to Span Boerdery (Naas Steyn) of Morgenzon. The sale was hosted by CMW Elite, with PM Swart as auctioneer.
