According to a Stock Exchange News Service (SENS) announcement on 11 October, the new beer giant would now be known as Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev).
The merged company now has operations in over 50 countries around the globe and employs approximately 200 000 people. Its portfolio includes global, multi-country, and local brands, according to the release.
AB InBev’s CEO, Carlos Brito, said that his company was “committed to helping farmers, retailers, entrepreneurs and communities” to thrive.
