Free State Agriculture (FSA) recently announced a new bumper sticker campaign to promote the role of the South African farmer and agriculture in general.

A competition was launched to design a sticker depicting the role of farmers as primary food producers. Celeste Scheepers from Centurion designed the winning sticker. 

“The sticker focuses on the heart of agriculture and that which farmers would like the public to think of and know when they think of agriculture,” said FSA Chairperson, Dan Kriek. “The sticker will be redesigned on an ongoing basis as we refine the message we would like to share.

“These first stickers are available in Afrikaans, English and Sotho, so that the positive message can be communicated to various audiences.”
