Tree Lucerne farmers’ day for southern region

The Tree Lucerne Organisation (BLO) is planning a farmers’ day on Thursday, 7 November, at the Outeniekwa Farmers’ Association hall outside George in the Western Cape.

There will lectures, examples of plant material and other talks and activities.

“It’s an important opportunity for farmers to meet successful tree lucerne farmers from the Karoo, Boland and coastal areas where tree lucerne is flourishing,” said BLO chairperson Schalk Botha.

Those wishing to attend the farmers’ day can SMS the word ‘Boomlusernboeredag’ to 076 756 0801, after which they’ll be phoned back; or include your email in the SMS if you want a response in writing.
