Lulu reinstates Land Bank bosses

Agriculture and Land Affairs minister Lulu Xingwana has requested Land Bank CEO Allan Mukoki and ­acting GM Godfrey Masilela to resume their duties. This follows the submission of a preliminary report on the turnaround strategy and review of the ­sustainability of Land Bank to the minister. The two executives agreed to step aside to allow an objective assessment of the bank’s state of affairs to be conducted ­earlier this year. The ­agriculture ­ministry is presently engaging with the National Treasury on a sustainable ­funding model for Land Bank. – BuaNews
