Agriculture and Land Affairs minister Lulu Xingwana has requested Land Bank CEO Allan Mukoki and acting GM Godfrey Masilela to resume their duties. This follows the submission of a preliminary report on the turnaround strategy and review of the sustainability of Land Bank to the minister. The two executives agreed to step aside to allow an objective assessment of the bank’s state of affairs to be conducted earlier this year. The agriculture ministry is presently engaging with the National Treasury on a sustainable funding model for Land Bank. – BuaNews
