The highest price of the day was paid for the bull MS 22 020, which was sold to Corné Rust of Izmar Sussex in Moorreesburg and Albert Deon Kotze of Acmaija Sussex in Agter-Paarl for R160 000.
Sussex bulls sold for an average of R53 406,25, open heifers for an average of R9 000, and cows for an average of R14 697,67.
Cows with calves sold for an average price of R17 500.
The sale was held by Vleissentraal, with Jakkie Nel as the auctioneer.
