Join us again for this year’s Farmer’s Weekly Nampo Tour from 14 – 17 May 2019. The tour includes entrance to South Africa’s premier agricultural exhibition, the Nampo Harvest Day, as well as farm visits to commercial producers in South Africa.

The tour includes farm visits to two commercial producers, and presents delegates with the perfect opportunity to network with other like-minded business and farming role players.

Package includes:

  • Three nights’ accommodation, breakfast included, in a tented village at Nampo Park;
  • Entrance to Nampo showground;
  • Air-conditioned bus from OR Tambo International Airport to Bothaville;
  • Farewell dinner on 16 May;
  • Farmer’s Weekly bag, scarf and cap;
  • Two farm visits.

Package excludes:

  • Local transport and parking fees at OR Tambo International Airport;
  • Expenses of a personal nature not included in the programme;
  • Flights, meals and accommodation other than stated in the programme;
  • Visa application fees, where applicable.

Interested parties must book by 30 April.

TUESDAY, 14 MAY 2019
06:00 –11:30: Delegates arrive at O.R. Tambo International Airport.
12:00: Delegates meet in foyer of the Continental Hotel.
12:15: Depart for Free State.
14:00: Farm visit (TBC).
16:00: Depart for tented village at Nampo Park.
18:00: Group dinner at the main tent restaurant. Dinner at own cost.

WEDNESDAY, 15 MAY 2019
07:00: Breakfast at the main tent restaurant. This is included in the package.
08:15: Visit the Husqvarna stand for a short introduction.
08:30 – 17:00: Full day’s visit at Nampo Harvest Day.
18:00: Dinner at the main tent restaurant. Dinner at own cost.

THURSDAY, 16 MAY 2019
06:00: Breakfast at the main tent restaurant. This is included in the package.
08:30: Farm visit (TBC).
14:00 – 17:00: Arrive at Nampo Park for a final visit to Nampo Harvest Day.
18:00: Group farewell dinner at the main tent restaurant. This is included in the package.

FRIDAY, 17 MAY 2019
06:00: Breakfast at the main tent restaurant. This is included in the package.
08:30: Depart for O.R. Tambo International Airport.
12:00: Arrive at airport.
