After Jimie Malan was named the 2023 Toyota SA Young Farmer of the Year, public interest in Malanseuns surged, with people eager to see first-hand what makes this award- winning farm unique.
Responding to the overwhelming demand, Malan and his team opened their doors to the public in 2024, for the first time in 110 years.
This year’s Garden Festival programme promises an unforgettable experience for the entire family. Visitors can enjoy guided walking tours and the ever-popular tractor tours, alongside inspiring show gardens, kids’ activities, delicious eats and treats, exclusive Plantland specials, and a full line-up of top-tier gardening workshops.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or getting your hands dirty for the first time, the festival offers something for everyone, and this year’s event is shaping up to be our most engaging and colourful celebration yet!
