Argentinian cattle farmer explains feeding process from a silage bag

Miguel Pertino, owner of La Trinidad Aberdeen Angus Stud in Argentina’s Buenos Aires Province, explains the mechanics of feeding cattle directly from a 65m long silage bag with 3 000kg/m. Eating is controlled by an electric fence. With a 70% fibre content, Miguel says he has not had any acidosis problems in 10 years.
