HIGHEST (BULL): R85 000

Lydenburg – The Bostrum Bonsmara Auction was held on 12 April at the farm Doornhoek. The top-priced bull (HDT 08 0059) was sold for R85 000 to Nelson Makhubu of Mpuluzi. The top-priced cow (HDT 09 0001) was sold for R14 000 to John Boon of Benmore. The top-priced heifer was sold for R14 500 to Carel van der Merwe, who also bought the most expensive cow and calf (HDT 05 0009) for R14 750. The auction was hosted by Vleissentraal Ermelo, with Mike Killassy as the auctioneer.
