Pretoria Wimpy outlets support drought relief

A total of 23 Wimpy outlets in Pretoria East have pledged support to the Funky Cappuccino promotion aimed at raising funds for Agri SA’s drought relief fund, initiated in 2015 to support farmers and communities in need.

South Africa is currently in the grip of the worst drought since 1982 and many farmers around the country have been negatively affected.

The Funky Cappuccino promotion runs until the end of September and by adding R2 to their bills, patrons can order a pink-coloured cappuccino with a heart on top.

All proceeds will go towards the Agri SA drought relief fund.

“Members of the public can also donate R30 to the drought relief fund by sending an SMS containing the word “RAMP” to 42030,” Wimpy marketing manager, Luise Peters said.

Here is a list of participating Wimpy outlets:
Bronkhorstspruit, Carlswald, Glen Village, Centurion Lifestyle, Centurion Mall, Cornwall, Cullinan, Parkmeadows, Doringkloof, Eldo Square, Faerie Glen, Glen Fair, Highveld, Irene, Jean Ave, [email protected], Menlyn, Moreleta, Silver Oaks, Silverton, The Grove, Wierda, Woodlands
