Mohair farmers and their record-breaking goats

In a special project, the Italian company Vitale BarbenisCanonico recently offered BKB clients exceptional prices for kids’ mohair with the necessary qualities – super style and character, good length and kemp free.

Among growers who qualified were Leon Eybers of Rietbon and Pen and Endrich Marx of Aberdeen, who respectively fetched new record prices of R870/kg and R835/kg for their bales of BSFFK of 24,4 microns at the last mohair sale in Port Elizabeth.
