He said agribusinesses BKB, OVK and Humansdorp Cooperative had agreed, after negotiations with the Predation Management Forum, to sell fencing at a lower price for a limited period in an effort to help mitigate the effect of predation on livestock farmers.
“It has been proven over and over that proper fencing is highly effective in protecting livestock against predators such as black-backed jackal,” said Verdoorn.
