Reactions mixed on commodity release for so-called “Agent Orange Maize”

From now on SA will be allowed to import the grain of the maize variety, DAS-40278-9, developed by Dow AgroSciences (Dow), that is tolerant to the herbicide, 2,4-D (2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid). This grain will be allowed for use as food and feed in SA.
