With the emphasis on large machines, this year we focus on the new CR10 combine and the upgraded T9 and Genesis T8 tractor ranges. New Holland confirms that they are one of the key suppliers of large agricultural equipment.

During the Nampo Harvest Day, New Holland will showcase an impressive range of machines at its stands, A2 and A3. This reflects the company’s commitment to the advancement of farming practices.

During 1975, New Holland pioneered the use of twin rotors for threshing and separating with the introduction of Twin Rotor™ combine harvesters. More than 50 years later, this technology has become the hallmark of almost every high-output combine harvester.

The new CR10 combine harvester is New Holland’s answer to farming demands. It is designed to minimise grain losses, protect grain quality, keep running costs low, and leave the farmer’s fields in the best condition for the next season. The CR10 is unmatched: the 24-inch rotors, in a wider and longer threshing compartment, feed a 16 000-litre grain tank, and discharge the crop at a rapid 210 litres per second.

The Twin Clean™ cleaning shoe features two cleaning systems running simultaneously, with two upper and two lower sieves, two clean grain sensors, and two sets of pressure sensors to measure the cleaning shoe load.

This system is revolutionary in the industry. It is fully automatic to guarantee even cross-distribution of the cleaning shoe for maximum capacity at near zero loss levels.

The award-winning IntelliSpread™ radar automates the spread control to ensure full and even residue coverage up to 18m behind the combine, regardless of wind conditions, crop type, or moisture conditions.

Improved technology

The Genesis® T8 series has recently received upgrades to meet more industry needs. There is plenty of power from engines delivering 195kW to 297kW (about 5% more than the previous series), fully synchronized Ultra Command™ powershift transmission, or the Auto Command™ continuously variable transmission to transfer the power to the heavy-duty axles, robust three-point linkages and drawbars. All of this contributes to optimal performance during soil preparation work.
The 328 litres per minute mega-flow hydraulic pump with six full remotes ensures long-lasting operation of any implement or planter.
Cab suspension is now standard and it comes with two Intelliview 12 touchscreens to handle all your implements and applications.
A Telematics-incorporated system and control are now available for life and make it easy to have visibility of your fleet.
There are still the two models in the range that are equipped with the well-known rear SmartTrax systems. These tracks give you a better footprint, driveability and traction in sandy soil or wet conditions.
The T9 tractor series with PLM Intelligence showcase the best of New Holland’s power from 312kW to 474kW (about 6% more than the previous series), comfort, efficiency and versatility.
The T9 series is the most advanced and powerful four-wheel drive tractor that New Holland has ever offered. Inside the cab of the T9 tractor range, operators experience PLM Intelligence technology that combines simple controls with greater control and adaptability. MegaFlow™ II hydraulics of 428 litres per minute are also standard along with six full remotes.
