A quick classic that’s ready in a flash!
Serves 4 Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
450g spaghettini, cooked
200g lean beef mince
30ml fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
30ml cumin
1 clove garlic, crushed
10ml salt
30ml olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 packet tomato soup, prepared according to packet instructions
oil, for frying
1 Cook pasta according to packet instructions, drain and set aside.
2 To make the meatballs, combine the mince, parsley, cumin, garlic and salt in a large bowl. Shape bite-sized balls with your hands and gently fry until golden. Drain on kitchen paper.
3 Heat the olive oil in a pan, add the onion and lightly fry until soft. Add the prepared soup and the meatballs. Reduce the heat and gently simmer for 5 minutes.
4 Serve the pasta topped with meatballs and sauce. tip For variation add any cooked fresh or frozen vegetables you have on hand to this tasty favourite.
