Samic’s meat cutting and classification chart available

The PRINTED VERSIONS of the Revised Red Meat Classification Chart and new charts for cuts of SA pork, SA lamb and SA beef are now available. The SA Meat Industry Company (Samic) said it prefers that the old cutting charts as well as the red meat classification chart be replaced by the new ones due to a number of changes. The charts can be collected free of charge at Samic’s offices. If the charts have to be mailed, a postage and packaging fee of R65 is payable for every set of three charts. These sets are available in sizes A1, A3 and A4 for a set of three, comprising charts for beef, lamb and pork.
