Winetech and the SA Wine Industry information and systems (Sawis) recently launched a new database – “Winetech Research Output Database”. The initiative will help to improve information transference in the wine industry as all information concerning Winetech research projects will be posted on the website. The information is available free of charge.

The database will also help to prevent the unnecessary duplication of research. Researchers can therefore use the information as stimuli for other research or they can use it as a foundation for further research on specific issues.
The database was developed and will be maintained by Sawis Industry Library. – Glenneis Erasmus
