The Tussen Berge Merinos Production Sale was held at the Clifford Farmers’ Association on 26 January.

The Tussen Berge group consists of Francois Pretorius, Jannie Schlebusch, Francois Nel, Stephanus, Donie and Peet Naudé, and Kobus Botha.

The highest price of the day was paid for a ram, which was sold by Botha to FC and Anine Schlebusch of FAS Agri in Lady Grey for R24 000. Rams achieved an average price of R7 974,36.

The sale was held by BKB, with Gert Jordaan as the auctioneer.
