This will connect over 900 key stakeholders from governments, banks, financiers, investors, commercial farmers, project owners and developers and the agro-processing industry to discuss trends that will influence the next decade of agribusiness economics in Africa.

This year, the Agri Indaba focuses on “achieving food security through private sector investment: the battle of narratives”. The African Agri Investment Indaba will feature the second edition of the Development Finance Institutions (DFI) Forum and the Banking & Microfinance In Agribusiness Forum. There will be high-level policy discussions where forward-thinking policy and development priorities are presented and assessed.

Agri Indaba will bring together small and medium-size farmers, agribusiness start-ups, industry leaders, development financial institutions, private equities, asset managers, commercial banks and lenders, microfinance institutions, policymakers, solution providers representing the entire value chain as different case studies, policies, and solutions are presented to achieve a food secured continent.
