Farmers can choose between compact or sloping centre options, a three-leg centre for added stability, or the four-leg centre which offers an easy replacement, even for other brands.
Each centre option works seamlessly with Agrico’s Basic and Advanced Rain control panels, allowing farmers the level of automation and control they prefer.
Span design for strength and uniformity
The G3 pivot’s performance across large areas is driven by its carefully engineered span options. With pipe diameters of 127mm, 165mm and 194mm, and span lengths ranging from 40,3m up to 67m, the system can comfortably irrigate fields of up to 200ha.
Durability is built into every span, with a minimum zinc coating of 100 microns providing long-term corrosion resistance.
Nozzle spacing also plays a critical role in irrigation uniformity, with standard spacing of 3,35m or an alternative 2,24m option for more precise water application.
Together, these design choices ensure consistent water distribution and the structural integrity of your system.
Tower engineering for real-world conditions
Agrico’s G3 tower design focuses on stability and a long lifespan. Windsaver technology spreads the wheels further apart, improving balance and reducing the risk of wind-related tipping, a key consideration in exposed farming areas.
Two tower height options are available to accommodate different crops: a standard height offering 3,2m crop clearance, and a high-clearance option providing 3,85m.
Built-in protection against theft
Theft remains a reality on many farms. The G3 pivot addresses this with integrated protection features.
Cablesaver technology stores cables safely inside the pipe, Wheelsaver technology protects the wheels, and Motorsaver enclosures reduce theft risk at the centre drive. These built-in measures help protect critical components and reduce downtime and replacement costs.
Extending coverage with the overhang
For farmers looking to irrigate more land without major additional investment, the G3 overhang offers a cost-effective solution. Overhangs are available in 3,35m increments, from 6,7m up to 30m, allowing your irrigation radius to be extended far more affordably than adding an extra tower.
Each overhang is fitted with Agrico’s patented Autoflush valve, which automatically flushes dirt and debris from the pipeline at the start and end of every irrigation cycle. This protects the system from blockages and also protects the system in the long-term.
