Members of Herenboeren volunteer to help harvest and plant. Matie Duvivier has been part of the co-op for a year and says it reminds him of his childhood. The farm has a budget to hire workers during harvest, but it is not necessary. Most members live within a 5km radius of the farm, with some as far as 30km away.
