An oblivious buffalo calf almost falls prey to a lion, while calling for its mother.
The action caught on video at the Mjejane Game Reserve near the Kruger National Park shows a lion circling a buffalo calf, ready to pounce on it, when the buffalo (cow) mum comes to the rescue and charges fiercely towards the lion and chases it away.
