“The endeavour of this organisation is to represent every single grain producer in South Africa. We have put all our members on the same par and will never refer to any of our members on the basis of grouping or race,” said Steytler.
He said Grain SA success in this regard was the result of statesmanship from both black and white leaders.
Members need not hesitate to voice their opinions but should work hard to preserve the principles previous leaders worked hard for.
“We have not allowed racial issues to get clouded by emotions and I implore you not to allow it in future,” Steytler said.
