Speaking at a press briefing on Land Bank’s financial results, Ngubane said the selection process is almost complete, with a number of professionals from different institutions having applied for the position.
“We went through a process of interviews with the Land Bank board panel. Now it’s back to assessments,” said Ngubane.
“When it’s complete, we will send recommendations to National Treasury for the final stamp of approval.”
Lindiwe Mdlalose has been acting CEO after Phakamani Hadebe stepped down from the position in December last year.
