
Kruger will replace Danie Minnaar, who has been appointed the new chairperson of Senwes, after the current Senwes chairperson, Japie Grobler, announced his retirement. Grobler will step down in August. Kruger said it was a privilege to become the chairperson of Senwesbel after people like Japie Grobler and Danie Minnaar. “I look forward to major developments at Senwes, which should have a positive impact on Senwesbel,” said Kruger.
Kruger, a public accountant, registered auditor and professional valuator, has served on Senwesbel’s board of since 2007. As a representative of Senwesbel on the Senwes board, Kruger also serves as chairperson of the social and ethics committee and member of the audit committee. Senwesbel holds an interest of 58% in Senwes, the only asset of Senwesbel currently.
