Machinery entries good, despite bad times

Leading manufacturers and distributors all agreed that the importance of Nampo, as a showcase for tractors, implements and all relevant equipment, grows every year.

This year more than 600 exhibitors offered the 64 014 visitors a wide range of products and ­services. Attendance figures were slightly down on last year on the first day but picked up ­considerably on the second and third days to meet the expectations of the organisers, Grain SA. New ­exhibition stands on the southwestern side of Nampo Park were added and feedback from standholders situated at various points in the park confirmed there was a more even distribution of visitors across the whole site than in previous years.
